Major traffic backup on Bay Bridge due to motorcycle accident

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- There is major traffic backup on the Bay Bridge before Treasure Island after multiple accidents, including one involving a motorcycle.

There is no word yet on the condition of the motorcyclist.

Earlier delays were also reported on westbound I-80 at the mid-span due to a police chase that ended past Treasure Island. The CHP says the suspect blew through the carpool lane, got out of the car, ran and was caught by police.

No other information about the incident was immediately available.
