'Sharknado 2' takes a big bite into iconic NYC locations

What packs in the strength of Jaws, the city-wide damage capability of Godzilla, and the terror of a fast-moving storm? The one and only Sharknado, a horrifying mix of aquatic fury and meteorological mayhem who is looking to take a nasty bite out of the Big Apple in "Sharknado 2."

To amp you up for the upcoming shark storm, here are a few iconic NYC locations that will likely be destroyed during "Sharknado 2" Wednesday on SyFy.

Empire State Building

Those excited to see New York's most famous building may want to stray away from the observation deck when the sharks are pouring.

Midtown Manhattan

Home to some of the best shopping and largest companies in the world, the Sharknado looks to take a bite out of one of NYC's main commerce hubs.

NYC Subway

Judging by the chairs, this is a train running through the west side of Manhattan and into the Bronx. But that doesn't mean that east siders shouldn't be wary of the upcoming storm.

Statue of Liberty

The iconic display of America's liberty and independence will soon become shark food.

Mets fans beware, Citi Field is a prime destination for some hard-hitting shark mayhem.
