The fires haven't just affected people, but their pets are also out of homes. Some left stranded and others are in shelters.

YUBA CITY, Calif. (KGO) -- The fires haven't just affected people, but their pets are also out of homes. Some left stranded and others are in shelters.

From dogs in strollers, puppies in picnic baskets, and cats in kennels the Yuba-Sutter Fairgrounds has become a haven for evacuated pet owners.

We speak with those affected who are happy they have found a place for themselves and their furry companions.
