STOCKTON, Calif. (KGO) -- Fog is being blamed for a deadly accident that killed five farm workers Tuesday morning.
The CHP says a van with six workers was traveling on Highway 4 just before 7 a.m. when a pickup traveling in the other direction hit it.
Five people in the van died and two others were taken to the hospital.
The van driver was wearing a seat belt.
The CHP says visibility was poor and drivers need to slow down in these conditions to avoid crashes.
