A fast-moving grass fire burned nearly 100 acres and destroyed a structure on Friday near Travis Air Force Base in Fairfield, according to fire officials.

FAIRFIELD, Calif. (KGO) -- A fast-moving grass fire burned nearly 100 acres and destroyed a structure on Friday near Travis Air Force Base in Fairfield, according to fire officials.

The fire was first reported around 5:30 p.m. on Markeley Lane.

SKY7 was over the scene as crews worked quickly to put out any hot spots.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
