SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- Several days of storms have brought heavy rain, thunderstorms, power outages and flooding to the Bay Area.

Some of the Bay Area's peaks have seen inches of snow and as for the Tahoe area, a Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until Thursday night, as the region has been hit with feet of snow.
The California Highway Patrol has shut down both directions on I-80 over Donner Summit due to hazardous weather conditions.
The CHP says they are responding to spin-outs and crashes as well.
Pacific Gas & Electric said in a news release that it was using artificial intelligence and machine-learning enhanced weather models to help determine where to send crews and equipment like power poles and transformers ahead of the storm. The utility company stressed that, unlike most winter storms, the anticipated weather event will "progress in several phases," with multiple storm systems moving through the region that will likely intensify the risks from wind, rain and snow.
Meanwhile, California's Office of Emergency Services said it is placing fire and rescue personnel and resources in areas most at risk for flooding, mud and debris flows.
As of 9:15 a.m., Oakland San Francisco Bay Airport is reporting 13 flight delays and four cancellations.
San Francisco International Airport is reporting 99 delays and two flight cancellations.
San Jose Mineta International Airport has 11 delays, and four cancellations.
All lanes of westbound 580 at MacArthur Blvd. in Oakland are shut down as of 9 a.m.. A car hydroplaned and crashed into two other vehicles. Traffic is delayed to Estudillo Avenue.
