Tiger cubs play with GoPro on remote control car

FRESNO, Calif. (KGO) -- A GoPro camera strapped to a remote controlled car is giving visitors a thrilling up-close look at four adorable Malayan tiger cubs at the Fresno Chaffee Zoo.

According to the zoo's YouTube page, the GoPro camera, which was donated by the REI in Fresno, was fixed to an RC car that was released and driven around the tiger habitat as the little ones chased after it.

The curious cubs were born in January and made their debut at the zoo back in March.

According to the zoo, there used to be tens of thousands of tigers in Asia. Now there are approximately 3,200, which includes all subspecies. And out of those 3,200, less than 500 are Malayan tigers.
