Rare sight: Manatee in Chambers County

CHAMBERS COUNTY, TX -- There was a rare sight along the Texas coast over the weekend.

A manatee was spotted Sunday by a Chambers County deputy in Trinity Bay. Manatees are mammals, but are rarely spotted outside Florida and the East Coast.

State wildlife officials helped the manatee get back into deeper waters.
