Study shows majority of Americans want Patriots to lose Super Bowl

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- Politics are tearing Americans apart-but a new poll shows we seem to agree on our hatred for the New England Patriots.

Public Policy Polling found 53 percent of Americans want the Patriots to lose the Super Bowl on Sunday to the Atlanta Falcons.

Pollsters say people like an underdog and are tired of seeing the Patriots win.

Still -- 52 percent of fans think the patriots will end up taking home the Lombardi Trophy.
