Marin County launches database to improve transparency

MARIN COUNTY, Calif. (KGO) -- Residents in Marin County can now check out a new database packed with information.

The new website is meant to give residents more online resources who want to better understand what is happening in their county. You can browse through government data, safety inspections and budget information. County officials say they want to take steps toward more transparency.
