Police investigate double shooting in Milpitas at Hidden Lake Park

MILPITAS, Calif. (KGO) -- Milpitas police closed a section of Hidden Lakes Park Friday afternoon after reports of shots fired along the Berryessa Creek Trail.

They are investigating a double shooting at Hidden Lake Park where officers found the bodies of a man and a woman.

Investigators believe the case may be a domestic murder suicide, and say nobody else in the area is in danger -- meaning, they're not looking for a gunman.

Officers closed off part of nearby Erie Circle, evacuated neighbors, and entered a home believed to be linked to the shooting.
