WALNUT CREEK, Calif. -- An unarmed man robbed a Chase bank branch in Walnut Creek on Wednesday afternoon, according to police.



Police said the man entered the bank at 1994 Tice Valley Blvd. around 2:45 p.m. Wednesday and demanded cash from a teller.



The teller handed over an undisclosed amount of money and the suspect fled the bank.



He was last seen in the area of Magnolia Way and Norman Court, according to police.



Police said the suspect was described as a white man believed to be about 30 years old who is roughly 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighs about 220 to 250 pounds.



He was wearing a black baseball hat, black sunglasses, a black long-sleeved shirt and white gauze across his face at the time of the robbery, according to police.
