NOVATO, Calif. (KGO) -- Emergency crews have rescued a pilot after his small experimental plane flipped-over at Gnoss Field in Novato during takeoff.
The plane ended up off the runway, partially submerged in water. The pilot's feet were in the water, but he was otherwise still strapped in the plane. Crews attached ropes to the tail to get the aircraft back onto its wheels, and the pilot out.
He wasn't hurt, and the plane appears to be okay too. The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
