"Nowhere on North America TV have we seen a weather reader so gross as you," wrote an anonymous heckler to Gordon, who did not leave their name or return address. "Your front-end looks like the Hindenburg and your rear-end looks like a brick [REMOVED] house."

The antagonist viewer went on to say they would no longer watch the Global News program because of Gordon's appearance. Barnes replied, "You know what? Good."

"Buy some decent clothes and have more respect for your unborn child. You're not the first pregnant woman," wrote another heckler. "Looser tops would look much more professional."

Gordon said she expected this behavior as she received the same type of response the last time she was pregnant, the bullying emails and letters increasing as she came to full term. Though she said she enjoyed laughing at the critics, she was still affected by their hurtful remarks.

"Despite thinking these guys are crazy, or having all these rational thoughts about it, it's amazing when you say something mean about someone, it still affects them," said Gordon.

Barnes and Stickley showed their support for Gordon by crumpling up the letters and flicking them off the news desk.
