LOS ANGELES (KGO) -- With the Oscars just a few days away, the world will be watching host Chris Rock and how he handles the growing diversity controversy. The comedian has remained very quiet about what we can expect from his performance Sunday, while many actors have been speaking out.
The comedian posted a rather mysterious tweet on Friday. It is a 15 second video of TV static with the caption: "See you Sunday... #blackout #oscars."
The message may be a veiled reference to the lack of diversity at the Oscars. Show producers recently said Rock was re-writing his monologue to address the issue.
Watch the Oscars on ABC7 on Feb. 28. Live red carpet coverage begins at 2 p.m. with "ON THE RED CARPET AT THE OSCARS."
