SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- On Thursday, two Major League Baseball mascots met up in San Francisco for a good cause.

It was the second annual Outward Bound City Skyline Challenge.

ABC's SKY7 HD was overhead as Oakland A's mascot Stomper and San Francisco Giants mascot Lou Seal rappelled 23 flights down the side of the Embarcadero Hyatt Regency on Market Street. It was all to raise money for Outward Bound.

Outward Bound California Josh Brankman said, "There's a little bit of a challenge. A little bit of adventure in it. And, what we are trying to do is to show the alignment between that experience and the experience that we do with students during our programs."

Outward Bound takes low-income kids on outdoor adventures to teach them leadership skills.

Last year, the event raised $250,000. Slots are available on Friday for a $1,600 fundraising fee.
