Whale breaches with spectacular rainbow background in Monterey Bay

MONTEREY, Calif. (KGO) -- Whale watchers spotted a spectacular sight of a humpback whale breaching in Monterey Bay on Oct. 3.

They pulled out their cell phones to capture whale spinning around, before making a big splash back in the ocean.

The rainbow in the background topped off this picture-perfect experience.
