Dog visits hospital to say goodbye to her dying owner

MARYSVILLE, CA -- It is never easy to say goodbye to a loved one, but a dog named Mollie was just happy to have the chance to bid farewell to her owner, Ryan Jessen.

On November 30, Jessen passed away after Rideout Memorial Hospital allowed Mollie's visit.

Jessen died from a ventricular brain hemorrhage at the age of 33, his sister Michelle said on Facebook.

Mollie, Michelle wrote, will now know why Ryan will never come home.

Michelle said not to worry about Mollie, who will live with her now. "She's part of the family," Michelle said.
