New campaign aims to stop laser pointing at aircraft

There is a new attempt to reduce the number of lasers being pointed at airplanes. You may recall in January of last year, a man directed a laser at the pilot of SKY7HD. SKY7HD then captured video of the man being arrested.

The FBI announced a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of anyone who intentionally uses a laser to target an aircraft.

There is also an awareness campaign -- some movie theaters in the Midwest will show public service announcements during the previews.
