FAIRFIELD, Calif. (KGO) -- Police now suspect foul play in the disappearance of a Fairfield woman who has been missing for a month.
Investigators say the search continues for 36-year-old Chantel Brooks.
Police said Brooks' vehicle, a black 2021 Infiniti QX50 SUV with California License Plate 9SBB134, was last detected by a Flock camera in Oakland, but the car has not been located.
Authorities did not elaborate on why they believe foul play may have been involved in Brooks' disappearance.
However, police said the investigation has included dozens of search warrants, along with drone and ground search efforts.
Brooks was last seen leaving a CVS store in Fairfield around 1:45 a.m. on July 17 after she had left her work in San Francisco.
At the time, she was wearing a brown, multi-colored brimmed hat, a red zip-up sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, and brown furry boots.
The search for Brooks remains ongoing as investigators continue to pursue leads.
