Vallejo police shoot, kill armed robbery suspect in Richmond after chase

RICHMOND, Calif. (KGO) -- Richmond police confirm that Vallejo officers shot and killed an armed robbery suspect after a chase through several Bay Area cities that ended in Richmond.

The chase began in Vallejo Wednesday evening. El Cerrito officials suspect the suspect may have been involved in a robbery in their city.

Police say Richmond Parkway between Interstate 80 and Lakeside Drive will be closed until at least 9:30 p.m.
