SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- Where did San Francisco go?

The fog was so thick in the city Thursday morning that some parts were completely covered.

Karl the Fog responded to the talk of San Francisco's giant game of hide-and-seek, tweeting, "New year, same me."
