Woman arrested in road rage incident
This woman was arrested after police say she tried to ram another driver off the road in an apparent case of road rage

DUTCH FLAT, CA -- A terrifying case of road rage was caught on cellphone video in Northern California.

Two women were driving on Interstate 80 in Placer County, California when the driver of a pickup truck cut them off. Vanessa Gladieux admits to ABC affiliate KXTV-TX she flipped the bird after getting cut off, but she never expected the driver of the truck to lose her cool.

"I told my friend, I think she's going to hit me, I think she's going to hit me," Gladieux said.

The driver of the truck began swerving all across the freeway and then slammed on her brakes, getting the two women to stop. That's when that driver, identified as Deidre Orosco, got out of the truck, approached the girl's car and claimed she was a police officer.

The girl's didn't believe her and called 9-1-1 who confirmed the woman' wasn't a cop. They took off driving again, and Orosco started to follow them.

"Car hit, I can't, she's pushing us off the road," you hear Gladieux scream as Orosco slams into the rear of their car.

The two girls are told by the 911 dispatcher to take the next exit where an officer was waiting. The girls were shaken up and scared, but they were not hurt.

"I can kind of laugh about it now, but in the moment, it was absolutely terrifying," said Gladieux.

Police tracked down Orosco and arrested her on charges of assault with a deadly weapon. Ironically, she had just been released from jails hours earlier on felony hit-and-run charges.
