MENDOCINO COUNTY, Calif. (KGO) -- A massive rock slide sent workers fleeing in Mendocino County Wednesday night.

The slide blocked Highway 101 about six miles north of Leggett at Bridges Creek. Wendy Kornberg from Southern Humboldt caught the slide coming in shortly after 9 p.m.

This area can't catch a break -- it was closed for a week after a different landslide and it had been reopened for just 24 hours when this happened.

Hwy 101 is the main lifeline between the small towns up in this area.

No injuries have been reported.
