SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- The storm could put a damper on the start of the commercial Dungeness crab season on Wednesday.
Crabbers began pulling their pots early Wednesday morning, and this means fresh Dungeness crab could be in local markets by the end of the week.

The rain and high winds could slow the haul for the next few days.
Officials say the recreational crab season began a week and a half ago.
