SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- Firefighters contained a grass fire near the Crocker Amazon Playground in San Francisco Friday afternoon.
Officials say the fire burned a total of 23 acres. A large plume of smoke built over the area and was visible from different parts of the city, and a shelter-in-place order was issued while firefighters tried to gain the upper hand on the blaze.
There were no reports of injuries or damage to any homes.
