SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- A popular restaurant in San Francisco's lower Haight neighborhood will close its doors for good on Monday, after losing its battle with a notorious landlord.
Cuco's has been in operation for 23 years. Their landlord is terminating the restaurant owners' month-to-month lease after they refused to remodel and upgrade at their own expense.
The landlord, Robert Shelton, is the same person ABC7 News exposed for illegally trying to require that existing residential tenants make a minimum income of $100,000 a year.
