SAN JOSE, Calif. (KGO) -- Many people open their windows when temperatures go up, and one local trauma center has treated four small children who have recently fallen from open windows.
San Jose's Valley Medical Center says they all fell from second or third-story windows. One child remains in serious condition. The others have been released.
To keep your children safe, you can install window guards or window stops. They can prevent a window from opening more than four inches. Keep a close eye on your children as well.
