Law enforcement from around the Bay Area and across the country paid their respects to a fallen San Jose police officer at a memorial service at at the SAP Center.

SAN JOSE, Calif. (KGO) -- Bagpipers play over Officer Michael Katherman's casket at the SAP center in San Jose.
