SAN PABLO, Calif. (KGO) -- An East Bay hospital now has enough money to stay open at least a few more months.
Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors voted to direct $6 million in property tax revenue to Doctors Medical Center in San Pablo.
Now the facility has some time to work out a long-term funding plan.
In May, voters rejected Measure C which would have raised about $20 million a year for the medical center. It currently loses about $18 million a year.
