San Francisco has warmest day of the year since May 17

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- In downtown San Francisco on Wednesday afternoon we reached a high of 82 degrees. That's 12 degrees above average for this date.

The last time we saw warmth like this was nearly four months ago on May 17 when we reached a high of 82 degrees as well.

September warmth is not unusual in San Francisco. On average, our warmest day of the year falls on September 24. Don't be surprised if we see more chances for heat like this in the coming weeks.
