Man suffering life-threatening injuries after shooting near San Jose State University

SAN JOSE -- Police are investigating a shooting that occurred in the 400 block of East Williams Avenue late Thursday night near San Jose State.

The shooting occurred at 11:04 p.m. striking one man, according to police.

The man has been taken to the hospital for injuries considered life threatening.

Police are still on scene investing and no further information has been released at this time.
