Big-rig trailer fire closes portion of Hwy 12 in Solano County

SOLANO COUNTY, Calif. -- A fire in a commercial trailer closed eastbound state Highway 12 between Walters Road in Suisun City and westbound Highway 12 at Denverton Road in unincorporated Solano County Thursday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Both directions are now open.

The fire was reported around noon. Traffic has backed up into Suisun City, CHP officials said. No injuries were reported.
