Colin Kaepernick jersey now best seller at 49ers online store

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- Colin Kaepernick's controversial national anthem protest could be helping his jersey sales.

The number 7 jersey is now the best seller at the 49ers online store.

Just two weeks ago, it was the 20th best seller and, at the end of last season, the shirts were on clearance.

Not all buyers are fans.

Social media has lit up with videos of people burning their Kap jerseys.

A Kaepernick jersey will set you back $100.
