Odds of major quake hitting Bay Area in next 30 years increasing, study finds
Experts are sounding the alarm that a major quake is becoming more likely to hit the Bay Area. New calculations show there's now over a 74% chance of a near 7.0+ magnitude earthquake in the next few decades, up 2% from the previous study.
