The YouTube video has gotten over one million views since it was posted on Monday.

Some people say the video is funny and cute. Others don't see the humor in it, saying tossing a baby around could cause serious injury.

McInnes responds to critics by saying he feels helicoptering parenting is hurtful for kids. And he believes the safety pendulum has swung too far.
