A HIGH SURF WARNING is until noon Tuesday due to breaking waves of 30 to 35 feet, and up to 40 feet at Mavericks.
The Look Ahead
A level 2 storm with gusty winds and possible thunderstorms will arrive late Monday night and continue through Tuesday afternoon. Rainfall accumulation for most areas will be .5" to 1". However, a few locations may have rain totals closer to 2".
WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday. Snowfall of 6" to 10" is expected above 6,000 feet, along with gusts up to 45 mph. Travel will be difficult; expect delays.
Christmas Day/Hanukkah will be dry.
More showers are expected Thursday through Sunday.
