Takeaway of the Day
We enjoyed bright sunshine today from coast to inland, although it has been slightly cooler than average for late May. Afternoon highs ranged from upper 50s at the coast to upper 60s around the bay shoreline to mainly upper 70s inland, although Morgan Hill hit 80 degrees and Fairfield topped off at 81. Tonight will be clear and seasonably cool, with overnight lows mainly in the range of 50 to 52 degrees.
A Look Ahead
Tomorrow will be noticeably warmer than today, with sunny skies and high temperatures ranging from lower 60s at the coast, to around 80 near the bay, to mid and upper 80s inland. Monday, June 1 will be even warmer, with inland highs hitting 90 degrees. We can expect sunny and mild-to-warm weather for the remainder of the first week of June, but a cooler pattern will develop next weekend.
