Takeaway of the Day
This has been a mostly cloudy, cool and gusty day for much of the Bay Area. High temperatures were eight to 10 degrees below average in some areas, and the strongest wind gusts have ranged from 35 to 45 miles per hour. The overnight hours will bring diminishing winds, along with increasing clouds and light rain or drizzle developing by morning. Rainfall totals will probably not be greater than a few hundredths of an inch.
The Look Ahead
The next three days will be partly cloudy, cool and relatively unsettled. High temperatures will remain slightly below average, and there is a chance of showers again on Wednesday. However, a sunnier and warmer pattern will begin at the end of the week, and the weekend will bring the return of summerlike warmth.
