ABC7 News meteorologist Lisa Argen has your AccuWeather forecast on Bay Area storm this Saturday.

Takeaway of the Day


Level 2 system underway as heavy rain and strong gusty winds bring potential flooding, downed trees and power outages. The heaviest rain will be from 5 a.m. to 9 a.m.. Isolated thunderstorms are possible as well.


Winds will continue through the morning and then gradually ease later today. Rainfall of 1 to over 2" is expected across the bay with higher amounts in the coastal hills.


COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY High tide 9 a.m., flooding of parking lots and roads


FLOOD ADVISORY for Marin, Sonoma and Napa counties through Sunday.


HIGH WIND WARNING for the coast & east bay inland valley through 10 a.m.


South winds 20-30 mph with gusts to over 60 mph.


RIVER FLOOD WARNING The Russian River at Hopland will see minor flooding into Sunday morning.


WINTER STORM WARNING UNTIL 10 p.m.


1-2 feet of snow expected above 6,500 feet. Gusty south winds
