HOUSTON -- There's a warning for parents after a popular baby wipe has been recalled by Sam's Club.

Simply Right baby wipes from Sam's Club are no longer on the shelf after the wipes were found to have bacteria that can make kids sick.

Brandon Lamp had no idea the wipes his family uses on their baby had been recalled.

"That's very disturbing," he said.

Lamp uses Sam's Club brand wipes called Simply right. The company stopped seeing the wipes after the manufacturer found packages have B. Cepacia bacteria.

According to Sam's Club, the bacteria could make children with chronic health problems or a weakened immune systems to be more susceptible to infections.

It's something parents of even healthy kids say they do not want anywhere near their kids.

"This is so terrible, I don't even want to think about it, the thought just makes me cringe," parent Courtlyn Williams said.

The recall is not being ordered by the FDA. Instead Sam's Club is voluntarily recalling the effected product which was sold since June of this year.

The company says, "We're communicating with members who have recently purchased the item so they understand the quality concerns and can return their product to Sam's Club for a full refund."

But Lamp says he got no notice at all.

"If it is something that is detrimental to my kid then it is probably not a good thing, right?" he questioned.

We've learned day care centers have the wipes in supply as well, and workers at least one day care did not know about the recall until a concerned parent told the staff.

If your child goes to daycare, ask the staff if they know about the recall and tell them not to use the wipes if they are from Sam's Club.

If you have the wipes, you can return to them to Sam's Club for a full refund.
