Takeaway of the Day
Our cooler than average May weather pattern continued today with fog and coastal drizzle in the morning, and mostly sunny, breezy, and cool conditions in the afternoon.
For most of this month, afternoon temperatures have been below average, despite a brief taste of summerlike warmth in early May. We're not likely to experience a return of summerlike warmth in the immediate forecast future.
The Look Ahead
The next two days will be much like today with morning clouds and coastal drizzle, followed by sunnier and milder afternoon weather.
As the weekend begins, be prepared for a breezier and even cooler pattern, which will continue through most of next week. There's no rain in sight, but temperatures will be noticeably below average for late May.
