Pick up the phone, otherwise telemarketers will think you're not home and call back.
Don't hang up on them. They'll think you were disconnected and call back.
Stand your ground. You must say "no" three times or they will call back.
No explanations-- Ask to be put on their "Do Not Call" list or they will call back.
Don't get angry. They might take it personally and call you back.
Don't give them a reason to call back. If you make up excuses, they will call you back.
Register to be on the Do Not Call list now.
