Amazon to open its first store in time for holidays

NEW YORK (KGO) -- Amazon is reportedly opening its first brick and mortar store. The Wall Street Journal reports the physical store will be in New York and open in time for the holiday season.

Amazon is refusing to confirm the report.

Online retailers have been blamed for declining sales at traditional shopping malls and stores.

Sources say if the stores does well, it could pave the way for Amazon to open in other cities.
