Music lovers to celebrate Record Store Day on Saturday

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- This Saturday, music lovers around the world will celebrate independent music stores, labels and indie artists with the eighth annual Record Store Day.

Music lovers will be rewarded for their continuing support for stores that have become increasingly rare with exclusive, one-time only releases and re-mastered classics by a variety of artists.

Amoeba, Rasputin, Aquarius and dozens of other record stores in the Bay Area will take part in the celebration with special events involving special performances, DJ sets, food trucks, and giveaways.
