The nation's largest retailer is giving a raise to half a million workers.

Walmart's CEO posted the news on a blog that workers at Walmart stores and Sam's Club will benefit.

The raise ensures they'll get at least a $.75 more than the federal minimum wage.

In April, workers will earn $9 an hour. By next February, that will bump up to $10 an hour.
