OAKLAND, Calif. (KGO) -- Teachers packed the Oakland Unified School board meeting Tuesday to push for a better contract.

They want more money, more resources and smaller class sizes.

The Teachers Association says the district received $38 million in additional funding over the last two years and can afford it.

The group believes Oakland Unified will lose its quality teachers if it doesn't better support and compensate them.
