Summer officially starts on June 21, and with it will come a torrent of sunny weather, delicious barbecues, and blockbuster movies. From ant-sized superheroes who pack a big punch to animated Pixar delights and all the sequels, prequels in-between, this summer is definitely one to spend at the movies. Jurassic World (PG-13)
Taking place 22 years after the original events of Steven Spielberg's blockbuster, Jurassic World sees the dinosaur theme park reopened and revitalized. After a new attraction goes horribly wrong. Hold on to your butts, Jurassic World is one of the most eagerly anticipated movies of the summer.

Dope (
Being a teenager is hard. Being a teenager living gang-ridden Inglewood, Calif. with dreams of attending Harvard is even harder. Written and directed by Rick Famuyiwa, the ultra-hip Dope follows around urban geek Michael and his friends who get a chance invitation to an underground party and partake in an adventure across a gritty, eclectic Los Angeles.
Inside Out (PG)
If your emotions could talk, what would they say? Inside Out watches as Amy Poehler, Bill Hader, Mindy Kaling and others lend their personalities to emotions like Joy, Fear, and Disgust in Disney/Pixar's latest imaginative delight.

Max (PG)
After his brother is killed in combat, Justin Wincott has difficulty bonding with Max, the dog who helped and belonged to his brother in Afghanistan. But after spending time with the well-trained and personable dog, Justin ends up making a best friend for life.
Ted 2 (R)
Seth MacFarlane brings back the gross gags and laugh-out-loud fun in Ted 2. Newlywed couple Ted and Tami-Lynn want to have a baby. But before Ted can legally qualify as a parent, he has to prove he's a person. With Mark Wahlberg returning, Ted 2 also sees Amanda Seyfried, Morgan Freeman, and even New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady joining the foul-mouthed fun.

Magic Mike XXL (R)
Easily the most important movie of the summer for Channing Tatum fans, Magic Mike XXL sees Mike and the Kings of Tampa traveling to Myrtle Beach for one final, blow-out performance.
Terminator: Genisys
Arnold is back in the highly-anticipated sequel/prequel/reboot to James Cameron's groundbreaking The Terminator and Terminator 2: Judgement Day. With Game of Thrones' Emilia Clarke starring as kick-butt matriarch Sarah Connor, Terminator: Genisys follows as Sarah, Kyle Reese, and Schwarzenegger's Terminator try to stop the cataclysmic event known as Judgement Day from occurring.
July 10
Minions (PG)
Long before the malevolent Gru ever adopted a trio of rambunctious but adorable little girls in Despicable Me, there were the Minions, a group of small yellow creatures with some big personalities. Minions visits the origins of Gru's lovable sidekicks as they're recruited by villain Scarlet Overkill to help take over the world.

Extremely wealthy but dying of cancer, Damian (played by Ben Kingsley) is presented the opportunity to transfer his consciousness into the body of a younger man (played by Ryan Reynolds.) But even after living large in his new body, Damian learns that immortality has its price as the younger man's history begins to catch up with him in this chilling thriller.

Pac-Man, Donkey Kong and other virtual villains ditch the arcade and decide take on humanity in this comedy adventure starring Adam Sandler, Josh Gaad and Peter Dinklage.
Southpaw
Jake Gyllenhaal throws some dramatic punches and takes an emotional beating in Antoine Fuqua's Southpaw. After his wife is tragically killed, Billy Hope's daughter is taken away by child protective services. Now the boxer must pull his life back together to get his daughter back and reclaim his former glory.

Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation
It's been nearly 20 years since Tom Cruise took on the role of Ethan Hunt in the original Mission: Impossible. But this secret agent man has shown little sign of slowing down, as Cruise performs high-octane stunts alongside Jeremy Renner and Simon Pegg in the latest installment of the action franchise.

Underdogs
Originally released in 2013, this Argentinian CGI-animated film about a young man who embarks on an adventure with his table foosball players is finally kicking its way over to the U.S.
