LAPD investigates Justin Bieber after attempted robbery allegation

Justin Bieber is being investigated in connection with an alleged attempted robbery that happened Monday in Los Angeles, Los Angeles Police Department Media Relations officials confirmed to ABC News.

Bieber, 20, has not been arrested.

Detectives are interviewing the victim of the attempted robbery.

The "Baby" singer has faced growing legal trouble in recent years. He was investigated in connection with a January 2013 egg-throwing incident at a neighbor's house. Earlier this year, he was arrested in Miami Beach, charged with drag racing and DUI.
