Young girl makes adorable practice 911 call
An adorable 911 call is making the rounds in North Carolina because it came from a little girl.

MCDOWELL COUNTY, N.C. -- An adorable 911 call is making the rounds in North Carolina because it came from a little girl. The dispatcher soon figured out she wasn't calling about an emergency.

"Well what did you learn at school today?" asks the dispatcher.

"About firefighters and fire and all that," Santi Fae Wallen, 5, responds.

"Did you learn about 911 today?" asks the dispatcher.

"Yeaaah, they did," Santi Fae says.

"Well you sure did pay attention today didn't you?" the dispatcher says.

Santi Fae used a deactivated cell phone to practice calling 911. She didn't know the call would go through.

A deputy went to her home just to make sure everything was okay, and Santi Fae says she was a little scared when she left.

"Yeah, I thought she would come back and take me to jail!" Santi Fae said.

Santi Fae had nothing to worry about. The deputy went back to the police station after getting a hug from the little girl.
